I had to put my best friend of 15 years to sleep on July 11th, just after my own personal tradgedy just a few days before.

She's now waiting for me to meet her some day.

To my best friend Molly, my 15 year old rat terrier:

I love you!

Mom~

My dog Nikita left her earth family today to join her "sister" Casey and Buddy.
Sleep well, my Siberian beauty and may your spirit soar freely.

~~~
We are deeply saddened.
She was the best dog, not a mean molecule in her body.
She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
R.I.P.
I too have lost a pet now...
Our Familiys 3rd Cat, from our first cats 2nd litter had to but put down.
She has been sick for over an year, sick from that pet food from China that killed so many...
And now, Pika is gone... She was the most friendly, sweetest cat ever...
What a good idea for a thread.
When I was 12, I had to watch the Siamese cat I'd lived with for my whole life die. He had heart problems, and his lungs filled with fluid. It was pretty bad. That was almost 10 years ago. I hope that wasn't too long ago for me to say goodbye here. I should also mention his sister, who died many years later (much more peacefully I should mention.)
I don't have a picture, but he looked like this.
Goodbye Shredder and April! (Yeah, we were Ninja Turtle fans when we named them haha.)
Just want to say R.i.p to Princess,
She came to me one night when it was raining outside, soaked and shivering, I brought her in warmed her up and weeks later she gave birth to kittens, I informed the owner and they said that it was not there cat, Even though I knew she was,
I decided to look after her and the babies, she was a very scared cat and had not been well looked after at all, her hair was matted and she jumped every time a noise happened,
After weeks of helping her build up, getting her the right food and grooming her daily she became a happy and confident cat,
she never once tried to go back the house she came from, She always returned, I was happy as I kind of thought id open the window at let her choose where she wanted to go,
Sadly last night she became ill, her eyes started moving rapidly, I rushed her to the emergency vet at midnight, they said that she had an incurable mental disorder, her brain just started to mess up, they said there was no cure and no way to help her, And that nothing I could have done would have changed the event,
I’m so angry at them neighbours, who just got rid of her like she was not worth a thing,
I am sad that I could not have got her at an earlier point; At least she could have had a much better life than she did with them people,
Why do people get these pets if there not willing to take care of them?
R.i.p Princess, Thanks for the short time we spent together,
Ill care for your babies
I dont have a picture of her but i have one of her babie she left behind,
candy
Asala, that is so sad. The poor, poor cat. One wonders how her life came to that end.
I'm sorry you lost the momma cat, but just think she came to you, maybe she knew your kind heart would look after her babies.
I second OZ, great job getting her when you did. I challenge anyone to look at that picture and not smile! I guarantee your kitty thanks you for taking care of her little ones.
On another note, because my dog had an incurable disease as well, I recommend getting her kittens checked by a specialist just in case there is proactive measure you can take against this possibly hereditary illness.
I understand the cost this type of thing can have on your wallet and you sanity, but in my case, it helped me learn to get the worries out of the way early.
Yep i had the kitten checked the same night, I was worried in case it was genetic, But the kitty is 100% fine, they did HIV tests and Feline lukemia tests and all have come back ok,
Thats something at least,
My word in the vet last night where just do what you can no matter how much,
We have a really good vet that lets you pay installments when theres an emergancy, they just set up a payment plan over a certain amount of months,
And there really trustworthy,they wont do anything unless they feel its really worth doing to help save costs,
